The Community Development Education Collaborative (CDEC) is a virtual community of practice for all community development educators - including university-based educators, students and community educators.
As community development instructors, we are informally bound by shared expertise and passion. The CDEC works as a virtual collaborative that brings educators together to share their thoughts, works, experiences, and resources. As such, we have created a comprehensive platform for educators to communicate and share resources.
By becoming a member, you will get access to:
Teaching resources and content from members, including syllabi, presentations, exercises, teaching aides and support materials.
Our online community and a directory of professionals, with opportunities designed to help all community development educators engage, connect, educate, share, and thrive.
Best practices and cutting edge insights in the field of community development education through regular newsletters and updates.
As a member, we ask that you:
Contribute to the collaborative by submitting your own educational materials in CDE.
Reach out and communicate with others in the CDEC.
Highlight the great things you are doing as a CDE educator.
