CD Education Innovation Mini-Grants
The Community Development (CD) Education Grant Team is requesting proposals for innovative community development education projects related to one or more of the following topics: 1). Instructional Practices and Pedagogy 2). Evaluation of Educational Methods 3). Community Engagement 4). Communication and outreach. Five (5) $4000 innovation mini-grants will be awarded.
Projects should focus on innovative applications of community development education in the classroom. This can include unique community engagement projects/strategies, working with a new/unique community audience, applying an innovative teaching technique, unique collaborations etc.
Deadline: The deadline for abstract proposal submissions is October 15, 2019 at 11:59 p.m. EDT. No late proposals will be accepted.
Each proposal will be reviewed by the CD Education Collaborative members. Proposals will be evaluated based on innovativeness, contribution to the field of community development education, quality of the research/practitioner-based project and sustainability.
*The lead author of the abstract proposal will be notified of the review decision via email on or before November 1, 2019.
Rules for Proposal Submission:
Submitted proposals must have at least one investigator who is a current CD Education Collaborative member. The CDE Collaborative is a virtual community of community development educators who support one another by sharing resources in CD education. Members may submit more than one proposal.
